We have recently gained a new package of care bringing many fresh and exciting opportunities to join our team in Widnes.

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Widnes, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.

**Meet our service user**

Our new service user is a 34-year-old male, who lives in his family home in Widnes. He is looking for his care team to be able to have light-hearted jokes with to match his personality.

He does have an existing care team that support him on a Monday and Tuesday who you will work alongside.

We are recruiting a team support throughout the rest of the week. As his dedicated healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting him 2:1 throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to monitoring and providing support with any of his clinical needs.

When at home he likes to relax, this could be doing things such as playing on PS4, watching tv and relaxing in the sun when the weather allows him. His family have an adapted villa in Tenerife, and he loves going there to be in the sun and make lasting memories.

Beyond the medical aspects, you will offer comfort and reassurance to both the service user and his family to ensure his wants and needs are supported.

It would be ideal if you have previously worked with service users who have an acquired brain injury however this isn’t essential as you will get training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in brain injury rehabilitation.

We are looking for staff who are comfortable around dogs as our service user a very well-behaved dog who he often spends time with.

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- PEG Feed

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time Days
- 10.30am - 6.30pm

Weekdays £12.50 per hour (£100 approx. per 8hr shift)

Weekends £14.00 per hour (£112 approx. per 8hr shift)

Bank Holiday £17.00 per hour (£136 approx. per 8hr shift)
