**What does your typical day look like?**

Leads the shift with full responsibility for delivering results through its people. Focused on the management and optimization of HSE, quality, conformance to plan, output, efficiency, waste, TOS and cost by supporting the employees to perform at their best.

Other key actions will be but not limited to:
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT & EXECUTION
- Assure that the production is made by following defined quality standards, process parameters and centre lines and is executed according to defined technical standards
- Lead the shift team and work in partnership with other site functions, in particular Engineering and CI to deliver daily, weekly, monthly and annual shift and site improvement plans.
- Delivery of financial budget aligned with the delivery of KPI’s
- Lead the shift team to continually develop our production system to maximise performance across all metrics
- Develop the operations team at shift level to achieve best practice embedding site and FBC improvement strategy
- Promotes improvement projects and activities by defining priorities in accordance with group guidelines
- Assures the development of the plant industrial system as a whole

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Work with the site HRBP to ensure the right number of people, in the right place, working the right time.
- Ensures absence management of the shift is carried out
- Defines learning and development plan for team members
- Promotes the robust cross functional communication and engagement across the shift. Demonstrates strong team ethics
- Support, motivate, develop and coach the team

**What are the key ingredients needed for the role?**

MAINTENANCE
- Requests the intervention of the Maintenance in the case of breakdown
- Escalates down time and major breakdowns in accordance with site escalation protocols

MONITORING OF PERFORMANCES
- Production of shift report and relevant escalations
- Monitoring shift performance, hourly via SIC driving appropriate short term actions
- Attendance and reporting DOR actions and activities
- Developing short, medium and long term improvement plans, driving CI activity through top loss data
- Ensures that process control and centre lines are maintained and monitored
- Ensure that performance data is communicated and visible to the shift team

PLANNING
- Support and deliver the planning of the operating activities on shift
- Delivery of conformance to plan
- Support with plan development to optimize efficiency
- Support with engineering planning

SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
- Continually develop safety and environmental systems, ensuring accidents, hazards and near miss reporting is conducted in line with FBC best practice.
- Support in the generation of SSOW and RA
- Advocate for behavioral safety.

QUALITY
- Ensure GMP standard are maintained across shift at all times
- Ensure all products are made to the correct specifications and technical standards, monitoring adherence to process control and centrelines
- Lead and coordinate food safety investigations on shift
