**Role Overview**

We are looking for a Head of Strategy to join the team and lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge analytical capabilities to support our business planning processes. The post holder will build and lead our strategy and planning team to help develop annual business plans and related metrics.

In this newly created role, the Head of Strategic Planning will be responsible for development and integration of the strategic planning backbone of our multi-national organisation. The expected outcomes of ongoing investment in this competency include:

- Promoting and nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and accountability throughout the firm.
- Driving priorities and resource investment focus across the business leadership, groups, sectors and business operation functions.
- Providing strategic context for material investment choices
- Empowering our people and distributing leadership.

The post holder will take the firm’s strategic planning function to the next level. As part of developing the firm’s overall strategy, this role will work with leaders and stakeholders across the firm to develop specific business unit and functional plans, unlock new forms of leadership and strategic growth and ultimately strengthen the focus and quality of outcomes from our execution globally.

As well as being values-driven, ideally you will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Extensive experience of developing or leading a strategic planning discipline, with foundations in long-term strategy, “big picture” thinking, business analytics and enterprise-planning and leadership facilitation.
- Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of building, leading and managing a high performing team.
- A strong storyteller with demonstrable experience of communicating clearly and concisely.
- Experience of measuring success through metrics beyond traditional financial KPIs.
