**Senior Laboratory Technician**

**Location**: Heathrow

**Hours**: 42.5 per week

**Salary**:Negotiable based on previous relevant experience

Our client is a leading provider of on-site and laboratory testing services. Since inception, they have established a reputation for excellence in servicing the UK construction, quarry products and civil engineering industries.

The company are looking for a versatile Senior Laboratory Technician to join their team in Heathrow.

**The Role**

As a Senior Laboratory Technician, you will be happy to follow strict protocols and processes, deliver in-house training, embrace health and safety, as well as ensure that all data is accurately recorded and completed on time for the client. You’ll havea willingness to learn and focussed on delivering a quick and accurate service to their clients.

**Core Responsibilities**
- To produce test results in accordance with the documented procedures, standards, and specifications.
- To ensure testing/sampling activities are maintained in compliance with UKAS and Company requirements.
- To ensure that the laboratory working areas are safe, clean, and tidy environments in which to work.
- To commit to ensuring the confidentiality of all customer information obtained or created during the performance of laboratory activities, except as required by law.
- To work in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
- To carry out allocated work in accordance with documented in-house procedures, in an expeditious manner.
- To integrate into the team and maintain a strong harmony and morale throughout the laboratory.
- Always represent the company.

**Skills/Experience**
- Compaction Testing
- Wide range of experience in soils testing - this can be OMC’s, PD’s, PSD’s, Plastic Index, etc.
- Core compressive Testing.
- Residual Flexural Testing.
- Concrete cutting experience.

Anyone with experience in any of the above could have the opportunity to join an ever-expanding Laboratory.

The company use dedicated software and automated machines for most of their testing. IT knowledge and knowledge / competency in signing and issuing reports would also be looked upon favourably.
