Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy are currently seeking a committed and passionate Curriculum Leader for Design and Technology. The Design and Technology department at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy are a welcoming, dynamic team of dedicated teachers. Our departmental staff have excellent working relationships with each other and a history of supporting and working with ITT providers. We strive to ensure that all of our students have the scientific knowledge and skills to access their chosen future destinations by offering a broad, well sequenced curriculum from KS3 to KS5.

This is a supportive environment in which to work, and the team are always looking to enhance their skills, creativity and competencies in the teaching and learning of Design and Technology.

We are looking to recruit a Curriculum Leader for Design and Technology to:

- Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students following Design and Technology programmes within the academy.
- Provide high quality leadership and management for Design and Technology within the academy.
- Develop effective partnership with all members of the Children’s Services Team to secure high levels of student progress.
- As part of your wider duties and responsibilities, you are required to promote and actively support the Academy’s responsibilities towards safeguarding**.**
