Head Housekeeper

The White Hart is a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Somerton, part of Stay Original Co. We are looking for working Head Housekeeper to join our friendly team.

As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for helping in management of a housekeeping department with 8 beautiful rooms. Maximising the performance of your team, leading by example and setting high standards to ensure the service is operated safely, hygienically and to contractual specification.

Your duties will include:

- Being the first point of call for room standards by the Group Room Manager and General Manager,
- Supporting the housekeeping team with ongoing training,
- Organising, assisting and leading the housekeeping team to meet their daily targets,
- Complying with all company health and safety, policies and recording any maintenance problems, safety hazards,
- Supporting in managing rota and making sure staff levels fit to the business needs,
- Controlling linen levels and reporting if any issues,
- Supporting in preparing order requests for cleaning products, disposables and room amenities,
- To be “hands-on” and clean rooms, public areas as a part of the role,
- Checking rooms after cleaning.
