The Lion at Malpas is a recently renovated dining pub with 16 boutique bedrooms and a stunning function suite, at the heart of the village of Malpas. We are looking for a breakfast assistant to be part of existing team. The role involves running breakfast from a Front of House point of view so confidence and good organisation skills are a must. Sometimes you will work alone, when it is busy there may be 2 or 3 working. Plus the breakfast Chef.

You will be responsible for:

- Delivering hands on, customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management, at all times
- Having strong knowledge of the menu and drinks offering to enable you to provide the guest with the best experience possible whilst maximising revenue opportunities.
- Preparing tea and coffee to House standards
- Delivering food and clearing tables
- Delivering drinks to tables
- Being aware of and adhere to licensing, data protection, Health & Safety at Work and COSHH legislation, at all times
- Communicating effectively with the wider team and work closely with the kitchen team
- Always adhering to all company policies and procedures and licensing law

About you:

- Strong team player
- Experience of working within a busy food establishment preferred
- Proficiency with serving
- Passionate and customer focussed
- Well presented and with an outgoing personality

More hours may be available working Lunch in the pub or cleaning rooms should you prefer full time hours.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £7.50-£10.00 per hour
