We're Maki & Ramen - a growing, Japanese-inspired dining brand known for our homemade ramen and freshly prepared sushi. With a strong focus on quality and warm, attentive service, we’re passionate about delivering a memorable experience for every guest.

Our Newcastle location is opening soon, and we’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Front of House to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a vibrant, expanding team, we’d love to hear from you.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Take orders accurately and relay them to kitchen/bar
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Handle payments and process transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining area
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and courteously

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong communication and people skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanour
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic math and POS system knowledge
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Previous hospitality experience (preferred)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
