**Faculty / Directorate**

Home to four specialist schools - Allied Health Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery, and Leicester School of Pharmacy - the Faculty has a long tradition of providing high quality education and development to professionals who make asignificant difference to lives, health, wellbeing, communities and society. The dedicated facilities are designed to replicate current practice and feature industry-standard equipment, enabling staff and students to undertake life changing projects to improvehealth and social care.

**Role**

The primary role will be to oversee and participate in the preparation of designated Psychology rooms, suites and laboratories for staff and students. This will include maintaining and providing training, practical assistance and advice in the use of specialistequipment, techniques and software to students at both under and post graduate level. The post holder will work under the general direction of the Team Leader to directly line manage a small team of psychology technicians. Other practice areas within the Facultywould also be supported by the post holder.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to line manage a small team of technicians providing a full technical service to over 1000 Psychology students and staff.

You should possess a minimum of a BSc in Psychology or a closely related discipline, along with experience in the use of specialist equipment and techniques relevant to the area of work.
