**English Teacher**
Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for an experienced English Teacher that can come in and hit the ground running and not be phased by the behaviour. They are ideally looking for an English Teacher who has previously workedin a Pupil Referral Unit or a similar setting but isn't essential. You will be responsible for the planning, delivering, learning and development for 6-8 students per class. All of the students you will be teaching will have been removed from a mainstreamschool on a temporary or permanent basis, so will be working at different levels, some lower than their age groups and others will be on track for their GCSEs. During your lessons you will be the support from 2/3 Teaching Assistants who will be their to helpthe students with their reading, writing and understanding questions, as well as managing behaviour when it occurs.
**Pupil Referral Unit**
This Pupil Referral Unit is located in the South London borough of Southwark and caters for students aged between 11-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a 6 weeks basis, long term temporary basis or a permanent basis due to behaviour,attendance, gang related issues etc. They currently have 50 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in June 2018, they were awarded 'Good' in all areas. This Pupil Referral Unit doesn't have onsite parking but there is parking available nearby and isa 5 minute walk from the nearest train station, making it a very easy commute from most areas of London.
