The company operates a multi-server network using VMware and Microsoft operating systems, with over 500 PC workstations, wireless networks, and various other electronic and mechanical systems.

Working with the team, you will be tasked with the support of internal computer and other technical systems, across (but not limited to): Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems, Office 365, wired and wireless networks, and PC and printer installationand management.

Working hours for this IT Systems Engineer role are 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required during busy periods. You will also be required to work occasional Saturdays and Saturday nights to assist with out of hours support and maintenance.

**Essential Skills** Technical experience in:

- Microsoft desktop operating systems.
- Basic networking including wireless networking (802.11b/g/n).
- Minimum of 1 years' IT experience.
- PC hardware to the level of installing and setting up, setting BIOS, configuring hard disks, memory, and diagnosing faults.
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft products, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

General skills:

- Able to communicate well with colleagues at all levels of the business and the wider group
- Good ability to learn new technical knowledge
- Good standard of written work
- Full driving licence
- Able to work through tasks to completion within agreed timescales
- A current, valid DBS criminal record check is required

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies
- Knowledge of Linux configuration and operation
