We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Night Carers at Peacock Nursing Home based in Eliburn Livingston. This post entails 12 hour shifts (7.15pm - 7.30am) You will be required to work any 3 or 4 nights (alternate weekends off).

Peacock Medicare Ltd provide quality care to residents living with life limiting conditions such a stroke, dementia, diabetes etc, within a friendly cheerful environment.

Applicants should be dedicated to providing a quality service to older people thus enabling them to live as independently as possible within a Care Home setting. Management at both our Homes endeavour to provide as much support as possible to our employees so that they can in turn provide our resident’s with all their daily requirements.

Duties involve assisting and involving residents with all aspects of physical and social care. An essential part of the work involves communicating with our older client group therefore excellent communication skills are essential.

We encourage all our carers to achieve an SVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and support is given to all our employees to achieve this award. Our training is well recognised across West Lothian and employees that work with us are well regarded across the community.

**Salary**: £10.63 per hour
