Quest is partnering with a a fast-growing B2B publishing house and is looking for an experienced journalist to join its growing editorial team within their Brands.

As a Journalist, you will be someone who understands what makes a good news story and is able to identify stories that the audience really cares about.

The role involves writing industry news stories and compelling features, representing the company at industry events and interviewing senior leaders in the Retail & Grocery industry.

**The roles and responsibilities for this Journalist -**
- Research, source and write news stories for the digital news publication
- Pitch and write features on the biggest issues facing the Retail /grocery sector
- Conduct interviews and build relationships with senior business leaders
- Represent the company at industry events and develop knowledge of the sector
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts
- Use SEO and social media strategies to maximise online visibility of content

**To be successful in this Journalist -**
- Ideally 12 months experience in a similar role
- Experience of trade or B2B journalism
- Previous knowledge of Retail, Consumer or Food.
- Digital publishing skills including Google Analytics and WordPress (or other CMS)
- Familiarity with social media best practise and SEO techniques
- Strong analytical skills - the ability to collect, organise and analyse information
- Accuracy and eye to detail.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
