As Transport Planner you will be reporting into the Transport Manager and responsible in assisting in the day to day running of the Transport department. You will be overseeing all routing of the businesses trucks and managing drivers on a daily basis.

Page Personnel have partnered with a leader in the Waste Disposal industry who are immediately looking to add a Transport Planner to their team.

**Description**

As Transport Planner you will be based out of the clients site in Bracknell and directly reporting into the Transport Manager. You can expect to have the following responsibilities:

- Responsible in the day to day to routing for the companies fleet of drivers
- Handing out routes and schedules to drivers
- Ensuring sufficient number of drivers are available in order for all routes to be completed
- Managing Driver time-tables, holidays and sickness
- Be on-hand to assist drivers in re-routing as of when problems arise
- Directly liaise with customers resolving customer complaints and queries effectively. Escalate complaints to TM as necessary.

**Profile**
- Previous transport experience is essential
- Previous planning experience is a nice to have but not desired
- Strong business acumen and excellent customer service experience.
- Previous knowledge of Waste Industry is advantageous

**Job Offer**
