Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for **Gardener/ General Maintenance Operative **who will join a team based at our client site **Bretby Business Park.**

**The Nurture Group** is an award winning national service provider consisting of three leading brands: Nurture Landscapes, Gavin Jones and Rokill Pest Control Services.

Nurture Landscapes specialises in grounds maintenance, winter gritting and interior and exterior plant display services, mainly to the corporate sector.

**Job Purpose**

As a Gardener, you will be working ‘hands-on’ to ensure that the requirements and the specifications are fully met for the enjoyment, recreation and safety of the site, employees and visitors. As an integral part of the Grounds Maintenance Team, you will also be expected to operate the required tools and machinery, check the health of plants by identifying pests and/or diseases, strimming, spraying, shrub pruning and general gardening**.**

This role will also require some general maintenance work including putting up pictures on site, fixing locks and moving furniture as and when required.

**Skills and experiences**:

- Passionate about the **environment** with a keen eye for detail.
- Spraying Certificates - **NPTC PA1 & PA6** preferable, but not essential
- Experience of Corporate and/or Local Authority Grounds Maintenance preferred, but not essential
- Experience with using petrol two stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential
- Experience with **ride on** grass cutting equipment and **tractor **driving preferable but not essential
- Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers
- A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential
