Customer Accounts Service Advisor

**Job Overview**:
An exciting opportunity to join our busy Customer Accounts Department
- **Location**:Torquay
- **Hours of Work**: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:00
- One in four Saturday mornings (3.5 hours)
**Reporting to**: Commercial Credit Director
**Purpose**:
- Assisting our 2000+ customer base with queries and payments
- Supporting the Credit Director
- Assist the company in its overall objectives.
**Main Duties**:
- Processing customer payments by telephone, bank transfer and cash
- Creation of new customer accounts
- Maintain customer master file.
- Maintain and process direct debits - multiple weekly and monthly.
- Daily payment reconciliations
- Review and manage all incoming customer electronic payments.
- Retrospective Loan Database
- Procure Wizard Online Customer Portal
- Ad Hoc project management
- Daily internal and external customer queries and resolution
**The successful applicant will need to demonstrate**:
- _Excellent communication and have a tenacious approach to problem solving for our internal and external customers._
- _Ability to work at pace and deal with a high volume of queries._
- _Have customer service experience._
- _Confident telephone manner_
- _Ability to reconcile accounts with an analytical approach._
- _Ability to work solely and as part of the team._
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
