**About UK Infrastructure Bank**:
We are the new, government-owned policy bank - launched in June 2021 - providing £22bn of infrastructure finance and partnering with the private sector and local government to finance a green industrial revolution and drive growth across the country.

**Job purpose**

Support the smooth running of the media and digital communications team, creating and managing content and analytics to protect and enhance the Bank’s reputation and deliver its strategic plans.

**Core responsibilities**:

- Creation and production of digital content, including copywriting for social channels and website, sourcing or production of visual media for digital use.
- Managing the creation and production of marketing content, including paid content, digital templates for use in bank-wide presentations, official reports, branded collateral for events, owning the image/video library, and overseeing use of brand guidelines.
- Creation of media materials, including press releases, Q&As, gathering relevant information from teams across the business.
- Support with creative planning across the team - ideas generation for content used across media and digital portfolio.
- Monitoring and analysing content, including analysing and tracking media coverage and digital footprint, and creation of quarterly evaluation dashboard and daily media summary.
- Supporting planning and delivery of online, hybrid and in person media events.
- Ownership of media contact lists - ensuring they are up-to-date, adding in new titles as required, creating bespoke lists for each campaign.
- Managing press office inbox, acting as the first port of call and escalating queries as necessary to relevant team member.
- Setting up and managing subscriptions on behalf of the team, working with procurement to ensure timely renewals, as required.
- Working with the team to ensure the communications grid and weekly events tracker is up-to-date ready to be shared business-wide.

**Required behaviours, experience and technical skills**:
**Knowledge:
- A strong knowledge of the UK media landscape, and an interest in tracking the news agenda.
- Knowledge of web and (social) media analytics and evaluating results to contribute to continuous improvement.

**Experience**:

- Significant experience contributing to and delivering a tactical digital and media relations plan, in support of an organisation’s strategic and business priorities.
- Experience handling social media accounts and website updates, specifically drafting copy for proactive and reactive posts, and publishing and maintaining content within Content Management Systems.
- Experience working with external design agencies to create branded materials and templates that enable self-service use and adaptation by colleagues across the business.
- Depth of experience as a social media practitioner; delivering impactful campaigns aimed at targeted audiences and using data and insights from platform tools and social listening technologies to inform practice.
- Significant experience working in a press office or in a PR agency with evidence of delivering media relations campaigns.
- Experience working within a fast-paced communications team, whereby campaigns are integrated for media, stakeholder and internal audiences.

**Skills**:

- Strong relationship management skills.
- Outstanding writing skills, including writing for web and social media, and ability to translate technical language into digestible content.
- The ability to take the initiative and work independently and with resilience, as well as work collaboratively within a wider team.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and ensure effective prioritisation and use of resources.
- Ability to keep abreast of best practice and technological developments to ensure effective use of media and digital channels by the Bank.
- Digital design skills desirable but not essential.

The postholder will be required to work weekends on a rota basis
