**The Role -**New account manager (Hazardous or Industrial Product sector)

**Location -**Remote (occasional travel)

**Salary -**Competitive, plus excellent commission structure and car allowance of £420 per month

**Russell-Taylor Group** have a fantastic opportunity for a new account manager to work on behalf of our client, a well-known company for leading standards in compliance and safety. Our client is looking for an individual with previous experienceof business development alongside account management within either the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry, or Industrial Product Manufacturing industry. As an individual you must be a confident, organised individual that can create a positive experiencefor both existing and new clients as well as building and maintaining relationships. Their role will include managing the influx of new client activity and generating new business leads.

**The Role**
- Meeting personal sales targets, building new account relationships, and emphasising the services that the company has to offer.
- Contacting previous customers of the company to regain business from them.
- Using lead generation and direct contact with prospective clients to gain new business
- Preparing written proposals for service charge, liaising with technical specialists and operations staff
- Building and maintaining a list of client contacts based on influence, personal judgement, supplied contacts and personally developed relationships.
- Participate in client meetings, predominately online with the occasional strategic travel
- Producing written reports on calls, proposals, quotes, expenses, travel and having the ability to produce oral presentation as and when required.
- Evaluating industry reports, external competitive information and reporting back to management.

**The Person**
- Previous experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry, or industrial product-based Manufacturing
- Previous business development experience
- Experience of account management and developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Have previous experience and knowledge of CRM systems with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Previous experience of dealing with large organisations at a senior level.
- Creating professional presentations and having the ability to execute complex business strategies whilst organising multiple projects and job responsibilities.
- Must have a strong initiative and can develop new customer contacts whilst having a proven track record of client confidentiality as well as dealing with difficult conversations and being consultative when required.
- Must be creative with project management skills to plan for new projects, events, and conferences
- Maintaining positive contacts within the organisation to interpret information or ideas and follow up on client requests
