This is a rare opportunity to join the Logistics Team supporting the day-to-day operations and management of the Spares department. Reporting into the Logistics Team Manager, this role is integral to ensure operational excellence and smooth running of the department. **Overview** In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Spares and Care/Accessories deliveries are undertaken; controlling processes and stock movements; and keeping in line with procedural guidelines - all in a timely manner. You will provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers, in addition to controlling costs and facilitating development of Spares staff. The role is full-time, covering 37.5 hours per week, based in Miele’s Abingdon Head Office, Monday to Friday, between the core operating hours if 7am-7pm. Occasional weekend working may be required. **The Role**: In this role, your responsibilities will include: - To supervise Spares staff, ensuring that all operational warehouse tasks are completed. - To adhere to Miele’s policies and procedures, including ISO procedures. - To run daily reports to progress/check on delivery status. - To act as a daily contact for contractors to ensure compliance with Miele procedures. - To maintain an accurate picking performance, - To fully participate with cross-functional workgroups to develop better working practices. - To carry out checks on both incoming and outgoing loads to ensure accuracy of documentation and stock. - To create an environment where team members are developed, engaged, and challenged. - To Maintain excellent hygiene standards - Prior knowledge of SAP, preferably in logistics - Prior knowledge of WMS, at operational level - Intermediate Excel skills - Organisational skills and a structured approach to working - A logistics background, including supervisory skills - Stock control experience - Able to work across departments, building networks - Can adapt to change across the business. **About Miele** Miele is a world leader in the production of premium domestic and commercial appliances.
