Job Title: Infrastructure Technician Location: Harrow Council Employer: Pertemps Recruitment Partnership for Harrow Council Contract Type: Temporary Hours of Work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday Overview of an Infrastructure Technician Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Home Infrastructure Technician to join an expanding team. The role of Home Infrastructure Technician has a competitive pay rate of £35.00 per hour Umbrella/Limited. Duties of an Infrastructure Technician: - To prepare detailed drawings, maps, stat drawings, estimates, designs and technical reports across a range of specialist engineering areas and to a high standard for approval - To assist the project Manager with Parking Schemes and Traffic Engineering - To inspect the Local Authority ensuring the correct advertisement and designs of sign have been implemented according to the TSRGD legislations - To abide by the TSRGD legislation - To communicate with Stake holders, Business Owners Councillors and residents - To check parking bays, ensuring that the new signs have been put up - To Identify and evaluate risks and impacts on individuals and/or the community and make informed decisions to mitigate risks To be successful in this role you would need to have the below skills & experience: - Must be able to drive to different Council sites - Must have a good knowledge of Cashless Parking and pay and display schemes - Extensive experience in Parking and Traffic Engineering schemes - Must have an understanding of appropriate Health and Safety, Environmental Management System and Construction Design and Management regulations - Experience in the use and operation of Exor CAD, GIS and imaging software and other appropriate electronic systems, and with a view to developing CAD skills - BTEC in engineering or appropriate engineering qualification, or able to demonstrate relevant experience About Us " For almost 60 years, Pertemps Recruitment Partnership has been the market leader in providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions and we are one of the most established players within the recruitment industry.
