**Job Title - Behaviour Support Worker**

**Hours
- Full Time / Part Time**

**PAY - £11.50 - £13 per hour**
- An amazing opportunity has arisen to work as a behaviour support worker for Tezlom. If you are passionate about the care/support sector, we want you to join our hard working team based in London _
- We provide care and support to client users in different boroughs across London. You'll be working with challenging behaviour and special needs. We offer a stimulating and rewarding environment_

**Duties**
- To assist in the design and implementation of person centred programs utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practice
- To monitor and take accurate data daily per service users targets
- To assist service user with self-help skills including personal care and hygiene needs (e.g., toileting, nappy changing, feeding, bathing, nail cutting, and medication)
- To ensure all programme materials are organised and accessible
- To model best practice and professionalism at all times
- Enable service user to improve self-management techniques
- To attend mandatory trainings, team meetings and self-directed e-learning modules
- To promote safeguarding and wellbeing for service user to the highest standard
- To implement restrictive techniques per service users positive handling plan as required
- Flexibility to support service user during evenings and weekends
- Other duties as required by your manager

**Required qualifications and skills**
- Five GCSE's or equivalent
- Good spoken and written English language skills

**Preferred qualifications**
- Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related field of work.
- 1 year of applied experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Experience utilising the principles and methodology of ABA.
- Experience of managing challenging behaviour.
- Full, clean driving license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,425.00-£25,350.00 per year
