We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Ambulatory Care Unit as a Clinical Support Worker.
The Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) is situated in the purpose-built facility of the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) and is co-located next to our beautiful Emergency Department. This has allowed Airedale to develop existing and new patient pathways into the Urgent Care steam including medicine, general surgery, urology and orthopaedics. Ambulatory Care Unit supports the “Right Care” ethos for our patients.
Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)
Due to an investment in the nursing team, ACU is looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who want to develop their clinical skills and knowledge and join us as a Clinical Support Worker. The role has the support of Registered Nurses, Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP), Band 7 Senior Clinical Sisters, and Matrons. You will be an active part of the ACU team, promoting excellent clinical skills, sound nursing care and trusting working relationship across a varied multidisciplinary team.
As part of your induction, the Urgent Care Clinical Educator will work with you to tailor an induction programme and development plan to achieve individual and departmental goals, and you will have a nursing junior sister to support and mentor you.
