At Menzies Distribution, our extensive national network delivers parcels in the business-to-business markets including for some of the largest UK high street and online brands and specialise in retail, office, education, and light industrial markets. Due to exciting growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Supervisor to lead our Parcel Sorting Team Joining our depot, you’ll be responsible for the team operation, overseeing the labelling and sortation teams, ahead of onward distribution.

Due to expansion, we are now recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Normanton.

**10pm - 6am**

**Monday to Friday**

Warehouse Supervisor duties:

- Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported, ensuring efficient flows of stock
- Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
- Organising Training activities/scheduling
- Effectively controlling goods in and goods out
- Quality Control
- Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures & enrivomental control
- Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
- Reporter of issues found within the warehouse to complete to the end
- Follow the daily schedule and ensure loads are completed in line with the booking and targets
- Daily Team Briefing
- Manage temporary labour and their hours daily

**Key Experience requirements**:

- Good spoken and written communication skills
- A professional manner
- Supervisor / Man Management.
- Good computer literacy _(Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)_
- MHE - Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
