**Exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team for a new restaurant/ cafe/ deli just outside Belfast.**

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, with a focus on coffee
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a café/ as a barista is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues alike.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
