**Supply Chain Administrator - Northampton** Our client is seeking an Adminstrator for their town centre office, assisting the supply chain team**t**o provide an effective and professional support role, working within the Supply Chain team. Administrative experience is necessary althoughsupply chain experience is not essential, as full training will be given. **Responsibilities Specific**: - To assist in the creation of Purchase Orders (POs) on 3rd party suppliers and Transfer Orders (TOs) as directed by the Supply Chain Team. - To ensure prompt receipt of PO confirmations from supplier, match details to the order, scan and attach both the PO and confirmation to system - To scan and attach authorised TO documentation to Syteline. - To maintain on time delivery of goods through effective use of reports within Syteline, chase the relevant supplier for information and ensure orders are kept up to date on Syteline. - To chase all overdue PO and TOs. - Monitor incoming shipments with input from the Warehouse Supervisors (both DE, UK and FR), assisting with the prioritisation of products for customer orders and keeping Sales updated on current status and expected ETA. - Notify Sales of any deviation from original requested date. - To liaise with Sales and at their request and with authorisation from the Supply Chain team, expedite lines via changing transit method - To investigate in conjunction with the warehouse supervisors (UK and DE) the reasons for late incoming lines and report back to the Supply Chain Manager - To raise and keep track of orders for non-stocked items requested by any Engineering Centre staff member (including (but not limited to) stationary, H&S equipment, tooling, consumables) - To check MFG Schedule and raise Travellers from the Production Schedule on a regular basis for UK Manufacturing. - To ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner - in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team. - To maintain System Data as requested by the Supply Chain Supervisor / Manager. **Qualifications / Education / Training**: Minimum of 5 GCSE level grade "C" or above Good standard of English and Maths **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years working in an administrative role Experience of working in a team Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word (eg using lookups, pivot tables, using formulas etc) Experience of talking to external companies Experience of talking to Suppliers
