Driver Hire Southampton are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers. For this position you will be required to shunt in the yard and complete trunk runs to hubs in the Midlands area. All goods are forklifted off the vehicle, therefore there is no manualhandling or heavy lifting involved.
- Ongoing work
- Monday to Friday
- 13:00 and 15:00 start times
- Average of 10-12 hour working days
- Shunting in the yard
- Trunk runs to the Midlands area
- Delivering in a Class 1 curtain sider
- Long distance driving
- Reversing into loading bays and waiting for goods be taken off vehicle.

**What we require from you**:

- Class 1 (C+E) licence
- In date CPC and Digi card
- No previous driving bans or convictions
- No DD or DR convictions
- At least one year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle is essential
- Great customer service skills
- Fantastic time keeping
- Happy to work evening/ night shifts
- Happy with long distance driving
