About the Role

As a Labourer here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be counting stock from tables and recording data in Excel and using Jomar software. You will be moving and booking stock and managing any wastage within the department whilst working with great attention to detail, you will nonetheless aim to achieve the required output levels to meet our production plan. There are some manual handing tasks and heavy lifting will be required.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours per week on a rotational basis (early and back shift).

Rate of pay starting from £12.42 per hour, dependant on experience.
- Show an interest in fashion, têxtiles or crafts
- Have the ability to carefully and accurately follow detailed written instructions
- Take pride in doing a job well, and never compromise on high standards
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Have good colour vision
- Organised and reliable
- Be able to work to deadlines
