Taskmaster have a new temporary to permanent vacancy for one of our long standing clients in Normanton. The position is based on a 12 week basis.

Our client is the UK’s leading temperature-controlled supply chain expert.

We are currently recruiting for two positions with a 7am start time on a morning:

- Job Description:

- Monday - Friday 40hrs
- Pay for the first 12 weeks - £12.50ph
- Pay once perm for the first year is £24,952.97
- Time and a half weekends and BH
- 20 days plus 8 bank holidays Holiday entitlement (rises 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 days)
- Multi drop deliveries - up to 40 drops a day
- Manage the scanning and loading of all consignments in a safe and efficient manner.
- Delivery and collection of pharmaceutical consignments to GP Surgeries, Retail Pharmacies, Hospitals, Wholesalers and Home Delivery Patients.
- Physical checking / scanning of all consignments at delivery point.
- Conduct daily diligence on vehicle safety checks and refrigeration unit on vehicle.
- Report and issues found on vehicle checks / routing to Driver Despatcher prior to despatch.
- Communication of all operational delays/ delivery failures as soon as known to Team Leader/Depot Manager.
- Correct completion of PDA/ driver manifest/collection/refusal paperwork.
- Managing the returns process of all consignments entering the local depot by scanning all consignments to the forwarding depots.
- When directed by a Team Leader/Depot manager, undertake any other task appropriate to the skills and responsibilities of a driver.
- Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicle provided to the driver.
- Maintain cleanliness of company uniform and ensure correct PPE is worn i.e Safety shoes and Hi Viz vests.
- Ensure a clean driving license is maintained and communication of any new offences are reported.
