English & Maths Tutor Required

The CatchUp Academy are currently looking for Tutors to work a Student in Hatfield Supporting the student with English and Maths. We are currently working with a catch-up program for students who have either fallen behind or need additional support in particular area, working to achieve the students goal. The program allows each student 15 hours of CatchUp tuition.
- _English and Maths Functional Skills support is needed for the _**Year 11 **_student. _
- _Sessions will be held from _**11 am**_ _to _**1 pm**_ _on _**Mondays**_ _and _**Thursdays**_ _at the student's _**Bromley**_ _address. _
- _Sessions will be held at the school in the_ **Croydon**_ _area on _**Tuesdays**_ _from _**10:30 am**_ _to _**12:30 pm**_._
- _The rate for this booking _**£30 per**_ _hour. _
- The role is to start in September_

**As an NTP Tutor you will have the following responsibilities: -**
- Deliver core curriculum tuition either online or face-to-face in schools to children who need extra support to ‘catch up’.
- Assess and adapt your teaching style according to the student’s current abilities.
- Liaising with the class teachers to plan and prepare lessons and objectives that are tailored to individual child/children over the course of the 15 hours
- Be flexible and committed to the hours required

**The Key Requirements of an NTP Tutor**
- To be an NTP Tutor you will either need to be a Qualified Teacher (QTS) or a support worker within a school with relevant qualifications or a minimum 6 months experience
- New Graduates at degree level are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum
- Confident behaviour management
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons on a 1:1 and small group basis
- An enhanced DBS
- Be confident with IT systems.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Graduate
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: £30.00 per hour
