**Asset Data Officer - Electrical**

As an Asset Data Officer - Electrical, you will play a key role in ensuring that Regulatory Compliance is achieved in relation to the Group's periodic electrical testing, powered access doors and gates servicing, Asbestos and EPC management programmes. To maintain and update the Group's stock condition and other asset management databases including the input of data and production of reports. To provide general administrative support to the Assets Team.

**Salary**: £33,986 Per annum

**Asset Data Officer - Electrical Main Duties**:

- Support the implementation of the Asset Management strategy by maintaining and regularly updating the Group's stock condition database from a number of electronic and paper-based data sources; to produce data reports for investment/ planned work programmes.
- Maintain and manage the Group's legal compliance databases and registers including asbestos, fire risk, electrical safety, and power access doors and gates ; to ensure compliance and accurate record keeping
- Ensure periodic production of Asset Compliance Reports and the timely gathering of data for this.
- Maintain, log and implement actions arising from internal audits
- Produce standard and custom reports from the various asset and compliance databases; to enable accurate reporting to Members
- Manage the administration of the Group's electrical inspection programme including communications with residents, contractors, staff and consultants; to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Review of certifications and reports submitted by Contractors
- Respond in a timely manner to customer and colleague enquiries regarding stock investment plans and asset compliance matters;
- Undertake general administrative tasks to support the Asset & Investment Team covering other areas of compliance such as gas servicing, legionella management and fire safety when required.
- Undertake any other duties in order to achieve personal, team and organisational objectives following consultation with your manager;

Self Development

Skills & Competencies for the role:

- Experience of database management and administration.
- Customer services experience
- Experience of developing relationships, working with and managing external Contractors and Consultants
- Ability to create and modify detailed spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience of Housing Asset Management data systems.
- Experience and understanding of Housing Association environment compliance administration responsibilities, processes and procedures in relation to Electrical Safety, Gas Safety, Asbestos Management, Fire Risk Management, Water Hygiene and Energy efficiency, would be advantageous in this role.
- Awareness of relevant legislation.
- An understanding of the housing asset management function and principles
