Our Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties whilst constantly being cool, calm and always polite, making sure that every customer is having a great time.

You will be a great team player and to be able to effectively communicate with Kitchen Staff to make sure everything is going swimmingly

Ultimately, it is the duty of the Waiters/Waitresses to provide an excellent overall experience for each and every one of our guests.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- meet and greet our customers
- present menu and provide detailed information when asked
- ensure the front of house is clean and tidy
- inform customers about the day’s specials
- operating the till and handling money
- serve food and drink orders efficiently
- check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to the kitchen area for cleaning
- follow all relevant Health & Safety regulations
- provide excellent customer service always

Essential Requirements:
Waiting tables is not about food and drink delivery to tables. It is customer service. Excellent service and make a good meal great and here we want our guests to leave with a smile

Desirable Requirements:

- Food Hygiene certificate level 2 or above
- Experience in similar workplace
- Any previous customer service experience

We are a family run coffee shop, ice cream parlour, and restaurant that has been the heart and soul of Aberavon Beachfront for over 15 years. Our homemade gelato, expertly made coffee, and freshly prepared delicious meals have earned us a reputation that ensures we are busy all year round and makes us the destination to visit when in Port Talbot.
