My client are disrupting their industry with a clear vision of making this easy to understand for their customers. They have huge growth plans for their legal team from top to bottom and need a strong Legal Counsel with extensive commercial legal knowledgeto join them on their evolution.

You will be working closely with senior leaders in the business including the CFO and Head of Legal in driving the commercial direction, as well as managing all contractual arrangements. With a presence across the world, your remit will extend internationallywith the ability to grow your function as the business continues to scale.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing contractual relationships with customers, partners and suppliers, including the negotiation and drafting of contracts.
- Identifying key risk areas for the business, providing commercial and strategic legal advice.
- Supporting the commercial team with timely legal advise on contract matters.
- Maintain and continue to improve the company's legal standards.
- Having a close relationship with external counsel with a remit worldwide.
- Begin involvement in corporate governance and M&A work as the business looks to continue their expansion strategy.

You will be the following:

- 4+ years PQE and trained with a reputable law firm/in-house in the U.K.
- Background in Fintech is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial expertise and knowledge including the drafting and negotiating of contracts.
- Proactive in approach with a key focus on identifying risks early.
- Motivated to play a key role in the development and strategy of the business, laying the foundations for the commercial and corporate teams.
- Excellent at managing key stakeholders with an open, personable attitude.
