Healthcare Assistant

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a lady with her complex care needs throughout the night.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a sociable young lady in her mid-20s, who lives with her family in Haslingden.

She loves all things horse related and is currently studying horse care from home. She has several pets that she enjoys taking care of these include her cat, dog, and pony.

Anyone new joining her care team must feel comfortable working within an environment with animals.

When arriving for your night shift our service user will still be awake, she tends to go to bed around midnight and will require regular repositioning throughout.

Other duties will include monitoring her body temperature and assisting with any clinical needs. She likes to be up, showered, and dressed by 8.30am which will be the duties of her night team.

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- Ventilation Management
- Cough Assist
- Spinal Injury Awareness

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time
- 2 shifts per week
- Nights
- 10.30pm-8.30am

Weeknights £11.50 per hour Approx. £115 per 10 hour shift

Saturday £12.00 per hour Approx. £120 per 10 hour shift

Sunday £12.50 per hour Approx. £125 per 10 hour shift
