Hybrid working between Leeds & Remote Overview: As Senior Product Owner you are accountable for: - Defining the Roadmap for BI/Data Team - Democratise Data usage across the organisation - Manage relationships with Stakeholders and Engineering team(s) - Proactively ensuring priorities are aligned with our business - Optimise value from each delivery Bi Product Owner - Responsibilities - Define the strategic roadmap for the Data / BI team - Shape the initiatives, epics and stories required to drive the roadmap - Maintain a backlog that is prioritised on complexity and value - Work closely with POs and BAs manage cross-domain initiatives - Maintain clear focus on value-driven development throughout lifecycle - Work with stakeholders to successfully influence the roadmap and manage expectations - Work closely with internal Data team to provide answers on functionality issues - Provide clear direction to Data partners, and focus on customer-driven development - Engage with POs and BAs to champion best practices in Product Management - Backlog quadrant to balance between feature delivery, technical debt and quality issues - Maintain balance between BAU (business as usual) roadmap and new data platform - Motivating team to deliver the customer outcomes in the most efficient manner. - Promote a culture of customer-focused delivery across the team Bi Product Owner - Technologies & Skillset Knowledge and Skills - Defining a Product Vision that will drive future roadmap decisions - Strongly "evidence-based", using relevant metrics to drive the right outcomes - Skilful communicator able to explain complex situations clearly - Excellent ability to build relationships at across a range of stakeholders. - Able to identify learning opportunities and handle dependencies - Working knowledge of the Data Analytics domain and related technologies - Understanding Visualisation, Data Vault/Lakehouse and Data Integration, e.g. PowerBI, Snowflake or MS Synapse Data services, SSIS integration. - Provide business insight throughout the SDLC delivery - Able to lead / facilitate internal and external meetings - Able to collaborate with others to deliver optimal value Experience - Demonstrable experience and expertise managing roadmap in a large organisation - Managed competing demands from multiple stakeholders in different business divisions - Comprehensive knowledge of Product Management methodology - Builds effective documentation, including Initiatives, Epics and User Stories. - Experience working in different delivery processes (waterfall, agile, hybrid) - Working with Agile or Scaled Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, leSS, SAFe, Lean, etc) - Degree or equivalent qualification - Certified Product Owner and/or relevant Agile / Scrum qualification (e.g. CSPO) Day Rate: £500 / £550 pd Outside IR35 Contract Duration (6 Months +) Leeds & Remote For an informal discussion please contact:
