**Role Description**
- A vacancy has arisen for the position of Multi-Skilled QA Technician at the Wisbech site, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- The role will be weekly paid, and will be on a rotating double day shift, although flexibility regarding hours and shifts will be required.**The job purpose is**:
This is a non-office-based role to ensure factory and legal quality standards, specified in Quality Management System (QMS) are adhered to by:
- Providing technical information and advice to the Process Control Operators.
- Monitoring raw material quality - conducting analysis, recording results and supporting the raw material intake process.
- Continually monitoring products by reviewing the product through the production flow.
- Knowledge of equipment operating standards and functionality.
- Communicating knowledge of ingredient and plant functionality to achieve optimum output, improve quality and meet efficiency targets.
- Ensure all product testing is carried out to schedule, accurately and following procedures as specified in QMS.
- Ensure seam checking is carried out to schedule and as required by regulations and Company or site procedures specified in QMS.
- Monitor CCP compliance as specified in HACCP plans.
- Advise on quality attributes and required standards of food processing standards, CCPs and processed product quality.
- Conduct GMP auditing and compliance monitoring.
- All other duties and/or tasks required to provide quality assurance of products and support the QA team.
