Kennel Assistant

We are a family run boarding kennels in Pontypridd, We are looking for a reliable part time kennel assistant, self employed individual to assist with the running of our boarding kennels.

Your role will mainly include: Exercising of the dogs on site and working to timelines. You must be confident with handling, caring for and working with all dog breeds, You must be committed to continuing the outstanding quality of care and cleanliness.

The role will involve:

- Primarily cleaning and disinfecting of kennels,
- Assisting with feeding routines;
- Walking the dogs on-site in ALL weathers;
- Monitoring and recording animal welfare.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kennel environment or working with dogs preferred;
- You must have reliable transport as our location is very rural and without public transport;
- You must be physically fit - the role is extremely physically demanding;
- You must be willing to take instruction and assist where required;
**Before Applying**

Please ensure you will be able to meet these working days/hours required

Saturday or Sunday at least 2 shifts a weekend between 8:00-11:00am 2:00-5:00pm

shifts Mon-Friday will be 7:30am - 11:30am 2:00-5:00pm (Flexible on Days)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 9 - 16 per week
