As well as gaining fulfilment for yourself, you will be really helping to reduce periods of loneliness and making a huge difference, your visits are so important to our clients. **Primary Responsibilities** - Reflect the core values of Home Instead - Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life - Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions - Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff **Essential Criteria** - A passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service - Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect - Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build professional relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner - Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice - Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions - You must be reliable, trustworthy and an excellent time keeper - Live within Waltham Forest **Qualifications**: - Willingness to travel to clients homes - You will be required to undergo a full DBS check Additional Information **Benefits** - A variety of working pattern - Morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and night shifts available - Award winning training - Pension scheme - Health cash plan - £12.00 per hour - £13.00 per hour after 8pm - Double rate for bank holidays - Blue Light card discount - Minimum visits with regular clients of one hour or more - Ongoing training and development plus fully funded Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
