**TITLE: Accounts Assistant**
An innovative and expanding established company based in Ilford have a rare opportunity within the finance function to join the busy office team on a full time, permanent, long term basis. This role will be varied, assisting the Financial Controller and existing team members with general accounts payable and receivable tasks for a group of owner connected companies within an existing finance team.
**About the role**
The successful Accounts Assistant will be someone who has a naturally positive and ethical approach, with a high can-do attitude to problem solving and getting tasks completed.
- Accounts payable and receivables, supporting the finance department will all finance requirements within a busy and thriving office servicing a group of commonly owner connected companies
- Maintaining and updating company systems (including Sage, Xero)
- Communicate positively with customers, suppliers and group related contacts
- Supporting the group with integrations of systems into existing company systems, overseen by Manager
- Ability with experience in matching records, data entry and auditing of existing data to ensure financial accuracy
- Record the suppliers invoices in company system (Sage)
- Developing strong relationships with suppliers and customers to achieve best outcome of account management
- Office telephony support, with a positive customer focused attitude
- Supporting existing staff with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including setting up of payment runs, payroll support, data collections, data checking and more
- Collect staff hours from the system
- Other adhoc administrative duties
- jump right into a thriving busy finance team, and work with an experienced Financial Controller to achieve finance deliverables
- Has excellent all round numeracy
- Has genuine passion to work with colleagues to resolve day to day accounting challenges
- Take initiative and make day to day decisions inline with company targets
- Be highly organised
- Have strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Be able to work to deadlines on own initiative

- Possess high communication skills matched with a genuine care for the work they deliver
**About the opportunity**:
- **Full training will be provided
- No previous experience required
- Immediate start available
- Permanent role
- Full time position, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm with no weekend working
- Salary for this role is £25,000 to £28,000, range dependant upon experience and skillset combined
- 28 days annualised pro rata holiday inclusive of bank holidays
