Cafe Assistant

Friday Street Farm Shop & Kitchen is a well established family run business based in East Suffolk and we require a full time Cafe Assistant for the Friday Street Farm Kitchen. Our Kitchen represents the values held across the business for high quality and locally produced food and the menu reinforces this, offering fresh and wholesome dishes using ingredients that are homemade, home-grown or sourced locally.

The role will involve:
Front of house duties; greeting customers and seating them, taking orders and payments

Serving customers and clearing tables

Washing up

Preparing and serving drinks

Assisting with food service prep, including cooking of breakfast and light lunches

Maintaining EHO food safety standards

Daytime working only, no evenings required.

Straight shifts 8:00am - 4:00pm / 09:00 - 17:00. 5 in 7 days.

Pay rates to be discussed.

Flexibility to work any day of the week but generally rota’d to set days, weekends are required (usually one day - rota’d)
