Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit teaching assistant in the Scunthorpe/Brigg area. This will give you the opportunity to develop your career and gain a lot of valuable experience working in a range of different settings from one to one and in group settings. - Have an NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with working with children or young people
- Be PECS or Makaton trained, not necessary but preferred.
- Be committed and passionate about working with children
- Key Responsibilities:

- Working one to one or in groups with children who have autism to ensure that their educational needs are being met.
- Planning a program for this individual student so that they are developing at an efficient rate.
- Helping with the development of social skills and confidence alongside education.
- Where required, using all methods that are helpful for Autistic children, including sensory enrichment and through specialist practices such as Makaton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
