Age Connects North East Wales is looking to recruit a Community Housing Officer Apprentice, you will be given full on the job training to become a Community Housing Officer whilst working towards the completion of a level 3 Advice and Guidance qualification.

This position will involve supporting older people in the community, across Wrexham County Borough, with housing related issues.

Main duties will include:

- Record actions/data on Charity log (an online CRM database)
- Research solutions
- Visits clients in their home
- Complete benefit checks
- Completion of forms
- Liaise with partner agencies

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a caring and empathic approach, who is open minded and non-judgemental.

Required qualifications/ checks:
1) 5 GCSE grades A-C or equivalent

2) Full driving licence and access to your own vechile

3) Enhanced DBS check - will be completed by the organisation if successful

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £20,820.00 per year
