Join our amazing team of Difference Makers in the Pembrokeshire area as a Floating Support Worker on a Part-time (18.5 hours per week), permanent, basis.

**Where does the role fit in?**

Our Offender Diversionary Scheme is a multi-agency service which seeks to address offending behaviour across four hubs. It is a culture-changing initiative that aims to tackle the root causation of offending and associated health and community related issues.

**What’s great about the role?**

You will be working with people who have experience of the criminal justice system and offending behaviour. We provide support to low level offenders that will enable them to live a productive crime free life in the community.

This is a fantastic, rewarding yet challenging opportunity for someone who wants to expand their career in support. Working closely with Probation, the Police and Housing.

**What skills and experience do you need?**

To be a great Support Worker, you need energy, enthusiasm, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect.

You need to be reliable because people are depending on you. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.

You don’t always need previous experience or qualifications. A good understanding of housing related support and welfare benefits, or awareness of issues faced by people at risk of homelessness would be useful in the role.

- Competative salary of £23,585.00 FTE
- We have a blended approach to the support we deliver and this can include working from home via the phone and video call, our offices, in peoples home and the local police stations within the Pembrokeshire area.
- **Work pattern**: Monday - Friday
- Your base office location will be discussed at interview
- 26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays
- Pension scheme
- Sick Pay
- Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
- Enhanced DBS which we will pay for.
- We will require a Non Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check for this role, which we will pay for
