We are looking to expand our marketing team in order to take on new projects to enhance our overall marketing strategy and we are looking for a talented, motivated and ambitious Marketing Assistant to join our team at Head Office in a supporting role to the Marketing Manager.
Being a part of the marketing team you will be exposed to all aspects of Marketing, Promotions, PR, Customer Service, Purchasing and Event Management.
**This exciting role would suit someone willing to learn all aspects of marketing with a passion for helping people and the desire to develop a career in marketing.**
**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:

- Preparation and proof reading of marketing and advertising material
- Creating relevant content to be used across various offline or online platforms
- The planning & booking of promotional material in time with a promotional schedule
- Contribute ideas to the Marketing team and discuss potential new campaigns
- Planning, organising and attending events on behalf of the business
- Liaise with agencies and suppliers when required for service or stock purposes
- Maintenance of Databases and Directories
- Provide reports and analysis on marketing projects undertaken
- Assisting our network of stores in marketing to their local communities
- Undertake projects from time to time with the supervision of the Marketing Manager

**Person Specification**:
To succeed in this role you will need excellent communication skills in order to work as part of a successful team and also the aptitude and drive to work on your own initiative.
Knowledge in Word, Excel and Publisher is essential and Photo editing/design software would be desirable. This role would suit an outgoing person who likes a challenge. They must be confident with people, including liaising internally with people on all levels within the business, as well as customers on the telephone and face to face. They will be an ambassador for the company, passionate about helping people to live a more independent life.
Due to the location of our Head Office a full driving licence and car is essential for this role. A DBS check will be required for which Ableworld will meet the cost.
