Have you ever wanted to work within the civil service? Are you an experienced administrator who is confident with dealing with customers? If 'yes' then please read on as we are looking for customer service advisor to join our client the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA)

These are working from home roles but you must be prepared to travel to local offices for team days and inductions as and when required
- Client: Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA)
- Location: York
- Monday - Friday 37 hours per week
- Shift times: 9-5
- Pay - £11.47 per hour

The role and responsibilities:
Post-holders will play a critical role in onboarding traders with the Northern Ireland Retail Movements Scheme and the Northern Ireland Plant Health Labeling Scheme. The roles will involve validating registration data submitted by traders seeking to register with the scheme; data entry; communications with traders to provide confirmation of acceptance into the schemes, or advise on why the data submitted is not sufficient to permit entry. The roles will also including audit of data submitted by scheme users, to ensure compliance.

Although this role is a data processor/validator, it does have aspects of customer service so please be prepared to take phone calls and speak with the public

**What skills and experience we are looking for in you**:

- Good communication skills both oral and written for when interacting with customers
- Confident with being on the phone
- Strong administration/data entry skills
- Strong MS office skills
- Can work part of a team and independently
