**The Role**

We are recruiting for an Assistant Product Manager to join our talented Products team within our Marketing function. The role will report directly into our Senior Product Manager and support with competitor research, performance monitoring, product rangereporting and the process for delivery of products and propositions.

This is a great opportunity for someone hungry to develop in product management. The role would suit someone with good numeracy skills, and eye for detail and a passion for getting things done. You’ll be given exposure across both mortgage and savings, andwork closely with internal teams & senior management to help drive improvements. There is real career progression opportunities within a growing team.

We’re open to people with previous financial services/product experience, or those who have a demonstrable interest in the sector with the right mindset to learn quickly.

**Key Responsibilities (not limited to)**

Support the senior product manager and product managers by:

- Acting as a point of contact for branch/sales teams and external sourcing systems
- Writing product specifications and proposals to supportproduct changes
- Helping with product deployments, including administrative support, validation and testing
- Conducting market research to monitor our competitiveness and support the enhancement of our products and propositions
- Monitoring performance of our on-sale products
- Assisting with, and running product reports, in addition to owning the calendar for core reporting, including the product reviews and benefits trackers
- Keeping accurate and up to date records of all product changes and our current product ranges
- Maintaining a good understanding of the customer journey and make suggestions for on-going improvements, taking into consideration target customer segment channel preferences
- Supporting with problem resolution in respect of new and on-sale products
- Writing minutes for the Product, Promotions and Pricing Committee
- Providing administrative support to the wider team

**About You**
- Passionate about building excellence through delivering a service you can be proud of
- Aware of the importance of providing accurate and appropriate information
- An understanding of Mortgages and Savings (preferrable)
- Good communication
- Respectful and kind; the way we treat each other sets the tone for how we treat our customers

**Salary**: £35,200
