Care Assistant/support Worker

We are looking for Care Assistants to work the following shifts in Abergavenny and Crickhowell: 07.00 hours to 15.00 hours weekdays; 07.00 to 15.00 hours Saturdays and Sundays; 15.00 hours to 22.00 hours weekdays; 15.00 hours to 22.00 hours Saturdays and Sundays. THE WORK Your role will be to support people with every aspect of daily living such as: Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing); Oral care; Continence care; Medication prompting and administering; Meal preparation; Check in service; Respite sitting; Companionship; and Domestic duties to try to ensure that our services users can live safely at home in their own surroundings for as long as it is safe and practical for them to do so. Our mandatory training is delivered via e-learning courses which means that our staff can study at their leisure. However, we are always on hand to answer any queries which our carers may have.
