**Accounts Receivable Manager, Thurrock, Essex**

**£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus and Package**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance department for an Accounts Receivable Manager to be based in Essex. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the Accounts Receivable Manager will provide credit control as well as manage a small teamof two Accounts Receivable Assistants.

**Duties**:

- Processing of all Sales Ledger invoices
- Working closely with the Commercial team to ensure that all billable items are captured on all sales invoices
- Liaising with the Property Team to ensure that all billable rental and service charge items are captured on the Tenants sales invoices
- Raising invoices in IFS (soon to be Oracle)
- Chasing non-payment of Sales Invoices with customers both verbally and by written communication
- Resolving invoice queries
- Posting cash receipts into IFS (soon to be Oracle).
- Production of Monthly Debtor Report and investigating unpaid balances by liaising with both internal and external parties.
- Provision of all documentation of unpaid overdue debts to a Third-Party Legal team to commence litigation proceedings.
- Posting of all cash receipts.
- Support the Finance team with the implementation of a new Finance system, Oracle Fusion.
- Managing the team and leading them to achieve operational targets and goals
- Performance and talent management of team
- Ad-hoc duties when required by the Head of Financial Control.

**About you**:

- AAT qualified or equivalent
- Demonstratable experience working within AR in a large organisation
- Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role will be preferable
- Experience using IFS, N4 Billing, Oracle Fusion and/or Jobs will be desirable but not essential
- Intermediate knowledge of Word packages particularly word and excel
- Strong customer service ethos with a flexible approach to tasks to support the needs of the business
- Ability to prioritise and manage fluctuations in workload
- Willingness to work flexible hours from time to time, as may be reasonably requested according to work requirements
- Good organisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders within and outside of the business
- Works effectively with others to deliver individual and team goals
- Builds and maintains effective customer relations
- Takes personal responsibility for delivering results
- Looks for things that can be done better and suggest improvements
- Communicates effectively with others to get the job done
- Able to adapt well to changes
- Good attention to detail
