Education Mentor needed for 4 hours block ideally on a Monday or Tuesday to support the education of a student with EOTAS. The young person likes reading and gaming. He has ADHD and needs an upbeat Mentor to help him access the community and engage in interest led, educational activities.
Earning between £18 and £23 an hour, you’ll build incredible professional relationships and inspire young people to achieve their goals. Delivering 1.1 sessions in the students homes and out in the community, meeting young people's needs in a way that works for you.

The Role
- Developing professional relationships with the children and young people who have complex needs.
- Understand the needs of young people who are chronically disengaged from education.
- Deliver planned learning through a range of exciting and interest based activities.
- Understand the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.
- Have detailed knowledge of how to work in a trauma informed way.
- Following the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.
- Utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs we work with.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
