**About the role and our team**
Join our team as a Macmillan Gynaecology - Oncology Cancer Support Worker on the Isle of Man
Within this role, you’ll be part of a new streamlined service supporting and assisting patients on their cancer pathways.
You’ll be responsible for the holistic assessment needs of patients, signposting patients and carers to the relevant sources of support and information, whilst working alongside Clinical Nurse Specialists and the Macmillan Information Centre.
This role allows you to develop new skills working in a developing cancer service, maintaining close patient contact and building links with specialist centres and Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Manx Care will cover the cost of for you. A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.
