**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate outgoing caregiver with a good sense of humour to work in a small team to care for a fun loving young adult within his family home.

**Duties**
- Assist the young adult with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
- Administer medication via feed peg as prescribed and monitor for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Implement care plans tailored to the individuals needs, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including hoisting and lifting when necessary as the young adult is 24/7 wheelchair dependent.
- Maintain accurate records of the young adults progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required in an adapted vehicle.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and ongoing assessments of client needs.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving roles is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given for the right person with caring attitude and understanding of the role that is required and excellent humour.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic first aid is beneficial.
- A valid driving licence is essential there is NO LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT near the young adults home and being able to drive to abd from a working shift is essential and for transporting clients in the adapted vehicle when necessary for appointments and leisure activities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £17.50 per hour
